Christabel Nsiah-Buadi is an award-winning broadcaster and producer. She has worked for Public and Commercial broadcast outlets in the United States and the United Kingdom, and reported from Africa.
As the Senior Supervising Producer for News and Notes on National Public Radio, she was part of a leadership team that established the show’s reputation as the ‘go to’ destination for African-American focused news, entertainment and analysis on the radio and online. Other Supervising credits for National Public Radio include, Weekend All Things Considered’ and Tell Me More with Michel Martin.
Christabel was the Senior Producer for the live talk show, RadioNation with Laura Flanders. The show was produced in conjunction with The Nation Magazine, and was broadcast nationally on Air America Radio.
Christabel’s on air credits include her work as the News Editor and afternoon Anchor for Air America Radio’s national news headlines. She also reported from the hurricane devastated Gulf coast for the network. She produced and hosted live discussions for the popular BBC Radio 5 Live show, Up All Night and was co-presenter on the BBC TV series, LifeSchool. For the Pacifica Network, she was a reporter and fill-in host for the international news show, Free Speech Radio News. She is currently the U.S correspondent for the morning drivetime show on Britain’s Colourful Radio.
She is a Founding Board Member of People’s Production House, an organization committed to closing the journalism gap in skills and access. She is also the co founder of DigiVenture. Digiventure provides training and consulting services for business owners and creative individuals who want to make a real world impact with their online ventures.
